The Town Council are pleased to see that the beautiful weather is bringing people out into our parks to enjoy the sunshine.

However, what we aren’t so pleased about is the horrendous amount of litter being left around the children's play area in Jubilee Field and around the Skatepark. Every kind of litter imaginable is being left behind for someone else to pick up or, in the case of broken glass, to cause injury.

Littering harms the environment and costs the people of Wadebridge money. It makes an unsightly mess of our town and gives the impression that we don’t care. The Town Council know that the majority of people living in Wadebridge are proud of their town and either put their litter in the bin or take it home with them.

However, there are obviously some people who don’t appreciate our Town, the surroundings we live in or care about anyone else who does.

The sad fact is that there are litter bins all around the areas shown in the pictures – is it really that difficult to put your litter in the bin?

PLEASE DON'T DROP LITTER. PLEASE HELP US LOOK AFTER YOUR TOWN. LITTERING IS NOT ACCEPTABLE, IS ANTI-SOCIAL BEHAVIOUR AND NEEDS TO STOP.
