The Town Council have responded to the consultation and await the outcome of the analysis.  We hope many of you took the time to ensure your views are heard.

Remembrance Sunday 14 November 2021:

On behalf of Wadebridge Town Council and the Royal British Legion (Wadebridge Branch) we invite you to the Remembrance Parade and Church Service on Sunday 14th November 2021.

Schedule as follows:

  • Commencing 10:15am, Memorial Stones, Egloshayle Playing Fields, Wadebridge - an Act of Remembrance, wreath laying and two-minute silence will be take place at this location. Please assemble at the Memorial Stones by 10:00am.
  • Parade & Service – following the above, there will be a parade to Egloshayle Church where the Remembrance Service will be held. If you do not wish to take part in the Parade then you should be seated in Egloshayle Church by 10:50am
  • Post Service Parade – following the Church Service there will be a parade back to the Memorial Stones.

Thursday 11th November 2021, 11am:

In addition to the above, you are also invited to attend the Act of Remembrance held by the RBL outside the Town Hall. An Air Raid Siren will sound the start of the two-minute silence and the all clear.

*Volunteers Needed*

Wadebridge Town Council are looking for 4 volunteers to assist with the road closure for Remembrance Sunday on Sunday 14th November 2021.

The timings required for assistance are approximately 10am  -12:30pm. The volunteers will be there to cover both sections of the closures, 10:20am-10:50am & 11:50am-12:15pm.

The Co-op have informed the Town Council that line marking works are taking place on Tuesday 12th & Wednesday 13th October 2021 in the car park nearest to the store.

The lower levels of Jubilee Road car park will remain Car unaffected.
