PA17/02756/PREAPP - Planning Performance Agreement (PPA) for mixed use scheme to include link road, school, residential, employment, retail and footbridge over A39, land at Bodieve, Wadebridge

The formal Pre-app Community Engagement Forum for the above proposal will take place on Thursday 14 December 2017 at 6.00-8.00 pm in the Town Hall, The Platt, Wadebridge PL27 7AQ.

This will be formally publicised in due course by Cornwall Council.

Wadebridge Town Council have been advised that gas works, along with a 3 way traffic light system in Wadebridge are due to start this month. The original dates stated on the map (below) are no longer correct, we can confirm that the first phase will start on 20 November 2017. The Town Council hold no further information on this.

Wadebridge Town Council would like to send out a massive thank you to everyone who helped organise, arrange and to all those who attended the 2 minutes silence outside the Town Hall on Saturday 11 November and the Remembrance Parade at Egloshayle on Sunday 12 November.

 

A special thanks goes to the Town Council's office staff, Town Councillors, RBL - Wadebridge Branch, the Town Band, Egloshayle Church, service personnel from RAF St Mawgan, Tony Rush, Robin Moorcroft and the steward volunteers who assisted with the road closure itself.

As well as H W Martin (Traffic Management) ltd for providing us with Road Closure signs on such short notice free of charge.

 

We look forward to another successful Parade in 2018.

Choose to cycle the 5 mile route along the Camel Trail setting off from Wadebridge at 10am. But if cycling isn’t your thing you can take part in the Santa Run through the streets of Padstow starting at 1pm. Or if you’re feeling super pumped, do both!
