On Monday, Wadebridge Town Council was saddened to hear the passing of our Senior Groundsman David Huthnance. No words can describe the utter shock this news brought.
David was a Wadebridge man and many of you may have known him from his early years. He joined the Town Council on 29 November 1989 and celebrated his long service of 25 years in 2014. David was an active member of the Groundsmen's team, a worthy leader and had an endless positive outlook on life. He was very proud of the job that he did to keep Wadebridge looking beautiful.
David will be sorely missed by all of us and we know that the workplace will never be the same again.
We offer our sincere condolences to his wife and family at this difficult time.
