Wadebridge Town Council are sad to hear of the resignation of Wadebridge West Cornwall Councillor Karen McHugh. Cllr McHugh has been a driving force for improvement and change for our town. The Town Council appreciates her tireless efforts in standing up for Wadebridge and its parishioners. Cllr McHugh has worked with and supported the Town Council and we recognise the loss of a Cornwall Councillor for Wadebridge who truly has the interests of this town and its people at her heart.

The Mayor, Cllr Phil Mitchell said ‘Karen has been an ambassador for Wadebridge. I will miss Karen’s positivity, her willingness to listen to the views of others and her desire to support the community in doing what is right for our town’.

The Town Council wish Cllr McHugh all the very best in her career and we send our sincerest thanks for her work in Wadebridge.
