📚 Wadebridge Town Council is offering an opportunity for a permanent Library Manager to join our team.
Permanent, 34 hours per week (averaged) worked over a 2-week rota
The job duties include some of the following 👇
• Manage, motivate, develop, and supervise the day-to-day activities of Library staff.
• Identify and implement training and development opportunities to continuously improve staff skills.
• Recruit, support, and manage volunteers or work experience placements within the Library.
• Monitor, review, and improve library processes, systems, and practices to ensure efficient service delivery.
• Lead the delivery of Library-centred activities, including reader development, story times, and events for children and adults.
• Manage library stock in accordance with Cornwall Council procedures and promote the Library Service to the community.
• Ensure customer enquiries, whether received by telephone, electronically, post, or in person, are handled effectively and professionally.Salary: £30,021 - £31,537 (SCP 15 – 18) pro rata for 34 hours per week

⭐ JOB VACANCY
Wadebridge Town Council requires a Car Park Attendant.
Part-time, permanent post:
• 16 hours per week - over 2 days per week on a 2 week rota basis as follows:Week 1: Friday & Saturday
Week 2: Monday & Tuesday
8.30am to 5pmWe are looking for a candidate who can: 👇🏻
- Liaise with members of the public by giving information, advice, and guidance on parking operations in a courteous manner.
• Provide an efficient and effective customer service by assessing and anticipating customer needs.
• Prevent illegal and unsafe parking and assist the traffic flow in the car parks.
• Issue fixed penalty tickets and other notices where regulations are contravened.
• Keep car parks clean and free of litter, including emptying bins.
• Ensure Council equipment is maintained safely and report faults or damage to the line manager.
• Work in accordance with the Town Council’s Health & Safety Policies and other relevant legislation.
🚗 A full driving licence is desirable for this post.
Salary: £25,583 - £25,989 (SCP 5-6) for 37 hours per week (pro rata for 16 hours; £11,063 - £11,238)
