We are pleased to advise that the white ‘Letters to Loved Ones’ post box is now back in place at Egloshayle Cemetery.
The post box was temporarily removed after it was damaged earlier this summer. The fixing plate has now been repaired and a new sign has been made, so it is ready to receive your letters once again.
We are hoping the post box can remain in this location although we may need to reconsider this if it is damaged again in the future.
The Parks team will also be planting around the post box this autumn, adding some seasonal colour and helping to brighten up the area.
Thank you for your patience while the repairs were carried out and we hope the post box continues to provide a special place to leave messages for loved ones.
