Meet your Town Councillors

We think its important to put faces to a name, so each week we will be putting up a member of our Town Councillors and why they joined the Town Council.

Meet Councillor & Town Mayor Amanda Pennington 👋

Amanda became a member of the Town Council in 2011 and is on the Wadebridge West Ward.

"I joined Wadebridge Town Council in 2011 when my children were all at primary school. I wanted to give something back to the community where my family live. In the time I've served on the council the council has built the skate park and taken on the library service. I'm very proud of the work Wadebridge Town Council does, and it's an honour to serve."

All our Councillor contact details can be found on our website.

⚠️⚠️ Annekas Bridge - CLOSED ⚠️⚠️

The works have now started on Annekas Bridge, with the entirety of the refurbishment taking twelve weeks to complete. The duration of the works is a little longer than previously advised, following restricted working hours stipulated by the Marine Maritime Licence. The bridge will remain fully closed throughout the repairs.

We are very grateful to everyone for their patience and support ahead of these works. If you have any queries or concerns about this work, please call 0300 1234 222 or email contracting@cormac.co.uk
